Let face it, we have all had people drop off of our teams for no reason whatsoever… Just simply vanish into the night… Vaporize never to be heard from again…

There is one thing that can help keep that from happening and keep retention on your network marketing team high! Creating Community and culture within your team is one of the most important things you can do to promote long term retention and duplication!

You need to build a strong relationship with the people on your team! As they say, “People come for the money, but stay for the relationships”. That statement is so true! As you can see in the picture below, I have a blast with my team! They are some of the most amazing people that I have ever had the chance to meet. We are like family and I have no doubt that it will always be that way!

There are 3 specific rules to remember that will help you create a better culture and community in your team.

#1 Plug people into the team

When you first get someone started on your team, be sure to plug them into the rest of the team. Introduce them in your team facebook group, and even personally introduce them to other members of the team and upline leaders. This will make them feel like part of the family and encourage them to start building relationships with others. Once someone sees the team as their close friends and family, they are far less likely to ever leave.

#2 Recognition

Recognition is one of the greatest ways to get people fired up and encourage them to continue to produce. People love to be recognized! Be sure to give shout outs when people are doing well and taking action. Its the simply things that make all the difference in the world. When you start giving public shout out in your team facebook group and on conference calls, look out! People are going to get fired up!

#3 Training & Events

Holding some sort of team specific training once a week or once every other week is a great way to get people around the campfire and get them to plug into the team. Also be sure to promote company events so that your teams gets to them. The more people you get to the company events the better because that is where the company cultured is created.

If you follow these 3 simple rules, you will start to create an amazing team culture and once it starts, you won’t be able to stop it! Now go out there and apply what you have learned and watch your whole team benefit because of it!
