IMG_4647Time Management can be one of the toughest things to overcome when a person first gets started in the home business arena!

So many people, when they first come into the home business space are so condition by society and their job. Most people don’t understand what it means to be an entrepreneur, set your own schedule and actually get tasks completed.

When people with an employee mindset end up involved in our amazing industry, it can be a rough road before they start seeing any return….. You have to shift your mindset from employee to business owner if you want to become a success story!

I have struggled with focus and time management over the years and so I decided to get to the root of the problem and start working on me! Since I made that decision I have read several books on the subject and have come up with a few key rules to follow if you want to be more productive and properly manage your time.

Follow these tips and you will notice a huge difference in your life and business!

#1 – Write Out Your Daily Schedule

If you simply write out your daily schedule and include the top 3-5 things you have to get done that day, you will be surprised at how well you can stay on task. When you have the end goal in mind, it is much easier to just stick to the plan rather than just make it up as you go.

#2 – Create A Routine & Stick To It Until It Becomes A Habit

Create a solid productive daily routine and stick with it until it becomes habit! Most habits can be formed within 21 days.

#3 – Eat That Frog!

If you have read the book by Brian Tracy you know exactly what I mean! Tackle the biggest nastiest task of the day first. If you do that, not only will everything else feel much easier, but you will also get the task out of the way and not have to worry about it anymore.

#4 – Take Care Of YOU!

Take care of your body! Eat healthy, put good fuel into your body and it will perform well! Exercise at least 3-5 times a week 30-60 mins a day. Get your blood pumping. Go on a jog, hit them gym, I don’t care just go be active! Also remember to meditate once a day for 10-15 minutes. I use an app on my phone called “Calm”. Its a guided meditation app and it works wonders!

#5 – Leverage Tools & Tech

We live in the technology age… So use technology to help you save time! Between autoresponders, post planner and virtual assistants, there really isnt any excuse as to why someone can’t be productive and manage their time!
